The artistic intent of Zamma follows unusual paths. ICONIC POWER expresses her creativity through a technological approach, that giving all the images a new mood, which the most traditional handmade embroideries are celebrated in a contemporary key.
The choice to dedicate a special tribute to those contemporary icons, who are
witnesses of a new role of the women and the new balance between the genders,
can be noticed in the artist’s words: “the motivational and evocative power of these icons allows us to project them into a future, in which their lives are proposed as our cultural heritage”.
